The first meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 15th at 6:30PM in the lower level of Village Hall.After brief introductions, the group will work on elaborating on the existing strengths-weaknesses-opportunities-threats (SWOT) analysis.  In order to make the most of everyones time, we are asking participants to take a few minutes to review the existing plan and make notes about anything they would like to add.  This way we can limit the discussion time and begin some actionable work plans.  The SWOT can be downloaded here.

If you are interested in participating in this program but are unable to attend the May 15th meeting, please contact Village Hall with your name and email address and we will make sure you get on the communication distribution list.

The sale becomes effective November 1st. The only change that you, as a homeowner, should see is that the trucks are different; they are brown.  The day of the week and the pick up schedule is exactly the same.. There will still be two trucks per week; one for regular refuse and one for the special pick up (recycling, yard waste, etc.).

Also to be noted, Granger said that they lay trash cans on their sides and place them on the grass on windy days so that they are less likely to roll into the roadway.

Locally there has been an outpouring of support for Officer Bielak and his family.  A fund has been set up at Citizen’s bank in Pinckney.  Contributions can be made out to the “Officer Robert Bielak Fund” and brought to the Village Police department for deposit.
