VILLAGE OF PINCKNEY 
Public Hearing Notice 2026/2027 Budget 
The Village of Pinckney will hold a Public Hearing on the proposed 2026/2027 budget on Monday, May 18th at 7:00 PM at the Village Hall, located at 220 S. Howell Street, Pinckney, MI 48169. 
The Village Council will be reviewing the draft budget and is seeking input from residents. 
The Village is currently facing a significant budget shortfall and is approaching a critical point in maintaining long-term financial stability. Without adjustments, current projections indicate the General Fund could be significantly depleted within the next two years. 
The Council is asking residents to provide constructive input and guidance on how to move forward. This includes feedback on potential cost reductions, service level adjustments, and revenue considerations. 
This is an opportunity for residents to help shape the future direction of the Village. We encourage thoughtful, solution-oriented input as we work toward a balanced and sustainable budget. 
All interested persons are encouraged to attend. 
Copies of the proposed Budget 2026 / 2027 are available for review at the Office of the Village Clerk, Village Hall, 220 S. Howell, Pinckney, MI 48169 during normal business hours (Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Interested parties are welcome to attend the hearing, or written comments with signature can be submitted prior to the meeting to: Andrea McCall, Village Clerk, Village of Pinckney, 220 S. The Village complies with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act and will provide assistance to any person requesting assistance consistent with the specifications of the Act. Requests for such assistance must be made to the Clerk at least three (3) days prior to the hearing.
