The library is now open at its new location, 125 Putnam Street in downtown Pinckney!
In November, 1977, the Village of Pinckney and Putnam Township resolved to jointly provide library services to their residents. The service agency is known as the Pinckney Community Public Library. Bylaws for the library indicate that it shall be overseen by a Board of Directors made up of five members appointed by the boards of Putnam Township (3 candidates) and the Village of Pinckney (2 candidates) to four-year terms.

If you have any interest in being on the Board of Directors, please contact the Village Clerk at (734) 878-6206. There is currently an opening for a member from the Village of Pinckney, which the Library would like to see filled by their September Board meeting. If you are interested, submit your application to Village Hall by Sept. 9.
