Now Hiring Temporary Office Help

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team for a temporary assignment. Must be willing to commit to the duration of the time needed (12 weeks). The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and experience working with the public. This position will involve working in an office environment and requires proficiency in Microsoft Office products, calendar management, and general office tasks.
Duties:
– Serve as receptionist for the front office
– Assist with office tasks, including organizing documents, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met
– Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
– Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, emails, and mail
– Maintain office files and records in an organized manner
– Transcribe and type documents as needed; willingness to attend evening meetings to do minutes a plus
Requirements:
– Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
– Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
– Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
– Knowledge of municipal office procedures a plus
– Knowledge of the Pinckney area a plus
