Welcome message from the Chief
The Pinckney Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency responsible for providing police services to the Village of Pinckney, its 2,500 residents, and local businesses.
The Police Department has 15 sworn police officers and reserve officers who provide police coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and who have a strong commitment to community policing principles.
The Pinckney Police Department strives to provide the highest standard of public service. It is our goal to maintain the small town feel of the Village, while providing effective, modern, and up-to-date police services. It is important that we hear not only from those of you who are happy with the services we provide, but also from those of you who still seek satisfaction. We invite you to ask us questions, bring us your complaints and give us your input, as that will help us provide you the type of service the Village deserves.
Throughout the years there have been many changes in the Village of Pinckney, but the one thing that will remain is this department’s goal of working with the community to create security and peace within our Village.
As you browse through this website, keep in mind the officers of this department are here to serve the public and welcome your suggestions and ideas. Working together will bring improvement to the lives of those around us and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the community we serve and protect.
